Well Hello There!

Hi! Thanks for checking out my blog. I wanted to use my first post to introduce you to our family, We can be a handful, so I'll just start at the beginning! I'm Stephanie, and I'm a wife and a stay at home mom of 4 beautiful kids! My husband, Andy, and I have been married (in a few more days) 3 years now. It doesn't seem like many years on a calendar, but man have we been busy, so it has truly flown by! In the time we've been together we've managed to move, officially adopt our niece, have a baby, and even took our first adult's only vacation a few months back. With no down time, the days turn into years quicker than I'd imagined!

My husband is my rock. He's my best friend, he has supported our entire family from the day we got together so that I could stay home with our kids, and even after working so hard for our family he still finds the time to spoil me rotten and go on adventures with me! He's the best dad to all of our kids, and that makes my heart swell. Some people may take things for granted, but he's everything I've ever hoped for, and more, so I refuse to take that for granted!

Together we have 4 kids total..we have his son from his previous marriage, Scot. He's 8 years old, and if he's ever not in my posts its because we've only got him part of the time. His main hobby is video games, and having him in our life has taught me how to truly love a child that you didn't give birth to!

Which brings me to our next oldest, Destiny. She's 4 years old, completely obsessed with mermaids and princesses and she's a Weddle by adoption. As my niece at 6 months old she had nobody in her life to take care of her, so instead of seeing her get put into the foster system we took her into our life, and we knew right away that we had made the best choice for our growing family. About 2 years later the adoption was finalized and she became Destiny Weddle.

When we welcomed Destiny into our home I was already about 4 months pregnant with my son Benjamin. We moved into a big enough house for all of us, and we immediately transitioned into having a 6 month old baby permanently, all while I was experiencing the joys of the 3rd trimester for my very first time. That May we welcomed Benjamin into our lives, and I suddenly found myself at home after having my first baby via c-section with a 1 year old Destiny running around as well. I got a huge dose of being a stay at home mom during that!! Today Ben is a talkative, friendly, Tractor loving
little boy.

We got married a few months after Ben was born, I mean after all we were raising 3 kids together. So on August 19, 2014, we said I do and I became a Weddle too! By the next April, we were trying for a baby. We didn't know if it would happen, but we both knew if it did that it would be our last one. It happened almost immediately, and so began the next 9 months of my last pregnancy. About 4 months into it we decided to move into a rental property on our best friends' land, it was August, it's Texas so it's HOT, and we had a 2 year old and a 1 year old running around. We moved in, settled down and celebrated our 1 year anniversary.

Fast forward to that December, and we were back in the hospital prepping for a c-section for our son Jonas, complete with a tubal ligation. But this time coming home from the hospital I didn't feel like a rookie mom, after all I already had 3 kids at home. And other than a few bumpy months of postpartum depression, it was a smooth transition from 3 to 4 kids. And finally our family felt completely complete. Jonas is our little shark, his intialas are JAW, and we're currently going through the terrible two's with him at 19 months because he's trying SO hard to keep up with all of the other kids and he has no clue how little he really is, he IS my baby after all!

So that's us! We're an imperfect, crazy, loud, emotional, and loving large family just looking to live life to the fullest. We're the people you see in the stores with 2 kids walking, 2 kids in the shopping cart, loading up their minivan, and momma consistently has a coffee in her hand and her mind on wine o clock. I know all of you other mommas know what I mean! So join me in our days as we raise our silly kids and try to stay (somewhat) sane doing it!
